Remibee is an anonymous B2B marketplace for the health & wellness industry, operated by UAB “Promo Vision” (VAT LT100005792017), a company registered in Lithuania (“Remibee”, “we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have.
1. Who this policy covers
It covers visitors to remibee.com and the people who use Remibee on behalf of a buying or selling business — account holders, their staff, and contact persons. Remibee is a business-to-business service and is not directed at consumers or anyone under 18.
2. What we collect
- Account data — name, business email, password (stored as a hash), company details, and VAT number, collected when you register.
- Profile & listing data — the display name, product listings, specifications, documentation links and messages you add to the platform.
- Transaction data — orders, quotes, in-platform messages, invoices and payment metadata. Card and bank details are collected and processed by Stripe, our payment provider; we never store full payment credentials.
- Usage & device data — IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed and actions taken, collected through logs and cookies.
- Preferences — settings such as your display currency, which we derive from your locale at signup.
3. Why we process it (and the legal basis)
- To run the marketplace — creating your account, publishing listings, enabling search, messaging, orders and payouts (performance of a contract).
- To keep both sides anonymous — generating and displaying pseudonymous partner IDs in place of real identities (legitimate interest in providing the service’s defining feature, and performance of a contract).
- To process payments and prevent fraud — via Stripe Connect, including identity and compliance checks Stripe requires (performance of a contract; legal obligation).
- To operate our business — customer support, service emails, accounting, tax and VAT compliance (performance of a contract; legal obligation; legitimate interest).
- To improve the service — aggregate analytics about how the platform is used (legitimate interest); analytics cookies only with your consent.
- To send marketing — newsletters and product updates only if you opt in, and you can withdraw at any time (consent).
4. Anonymity between members
Remibee deliberately hides member identities from one another. Trading partners see a pseudonymous ID (for example, “Verified Partner #A1742”) instead of your name or company. Your identifying details are disclosed to a counterparty only where that is strictly necessary to complete a transaction you entered into (for example, shipping and invoicing details required by law) or where you choose to disclose them yourself. Remibee, as operator, can see real identities in order to run the marketplace, verify members and prevent abuse.
5. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with processors and partners needed to run Remibee:
- Our web hosting provider (hosting of the website, database, accounts, listings and transactions)
- Stripe (payment processing, payouts, KYB/fraud checks)
- Make.com and Zoho (CRM and workflow automation — contact and transaction records)
- Professional advisers and authorities where required by law (accountants, auditors, courts, tax authorities)
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share your identity with other members except as described in section 4.
6. International transfers
Some providers process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised by the GDPR — primarily the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, for US providers, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where certified.
7. How long we keep data
- Account and profile data — for the life of your account and up to 12 months after closure.
- Transaction and invoicing records — for the retention period required by applicable Lithuanian accounting and tax law.
- Messages — for the life of your account, and as needed to resolve disputes.
- Logs and analytics — up to 24 months.
We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete or port your data, to restrict or object to processing, and you can withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing before withdrawal). Write to legal@remibee.com and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Lithuania, the State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija, VDAI, vdai.lrv.lt), or the authority in your own EU country.
9. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and the platform secure. Analytics cookies are used only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Your browser settings can also block or delete cookies; the platform’s core features require the necessary ones.
10. Security
We protect data with encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls and the security programmes of our infrastructure providers (our hosting provider, Stripe). No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your rights, we will notify you and the supervisory authority as the GDPR requires.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. The date above always reflects the latest version, and material changes will be announced on the platform.
